Despite common rumour, Dali was a proclaimed virgin for the entirety of his life. This was due to a sexual fear that brewed deeply after his father showed him pictures of venereal diseases as a small boy. Due to this, he didn't participate in any sexual activities. His wife Gala however, was known for participating in several orgies often with Dali watching. These sketches are thought to be related to the forms of bodies he witnessed during such activities
