ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been interested in art since I was a child, making pinch pots and firing them in the open fire at home. I studied art in my high school years and particularly enjoyed screen printing. I studied ceramics at the Northern Beaches Tafe, NSW, where I gained first place and a Merit Award in Studio Ceramics in 1993. In 1994 I gained a Merit Award Certificate in Ceramics - Surface Treatment and Design.
Upon returning to Tasmania, I settled on the West Tamar where I have my own studio. I have been printing, mainly lino prints, since 2016. In 2016 I became a member of Newfield's Printmakers and have exhibited in ten exhibitions since then, including 2 at the Blenheim Gallery.
