ABOUT THE POET

Joy Elizabeth has lived in Tasmania for almost 60 years and has been writing poetry for most of that time. Her work ranges from the very personal to reflections on international, social and environment issues.

Joy has been involved in organising poetry events, including the Tasmanian Heats and Final of the Australian Poetry Slam with Words United, Poets' Breakfasts at folk festivals, and as a part of the Tasmanian Poetry Festival Committee. She regularly performs with other poets at a number of venues around the state.

Her latest collection: 'Fragile Friday' is available from Petrarch's Launceston.
