Kosanaga chojo (The Princess and the Herd Boy) is the story of a young boy that becomes a farm hand to look after a cow. The cow grew a healthy, golden coat and revealed to the boy that it was a cow from the Gods. The boy travelled on the cow’s back to heaven. Here the boy met a princess that was a daughter of the Gods.
