Les Muses: Terpsichore

Salvador Dalí created the suite of Les Muses while creating works for two of his patrons Giuseppe and Mara Albaretto. The artworks are inspired by Greek mythology.

Terpsichore is the Muse of Dance and is associated with a chorus of singers and dance. She is often shown with a choir and is sometimes sitting down.
