Q. Can I enter using A.I generated content?
A. No. Submissions created by, or with the help of, Artificial Intelligence are not acceptable.
Q. Can I enter multiple artworks and/or poems?
A. Yes. However, each piece must be submitted separately; a unique ticket must be purchased for each submission.
Q. I live interstate. Can I enter?
A. Any Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia may enter; if you are under 18 you will need parental consent. Shortlisted applicants are responsible for the delivery and recollection of their submissions, including all postage.
Q. How will I know if I've been shortlisted?
A. After the close of applications, all successful entrants will be notified via elected email.
Q. Will the artwork and poetry be exhibited?
A. Yes. After the hand-in period, all successful submissions will be publicly displayed onsite at dAda mUse from early-October through Mid-November. This showcase is available to view by anyone, for free, during our standard opening hours.
Q. How are the winners decided?
A. The winner of each category is determined independently. The Surrealist Prize ( Major ) is decided by a private panel representing dAda mUse. Both Peoples' Choice Awards are decided by a public ballot; visitors to the gallery are invited to cast votes for their favourite artwork and poem during the event period.
